Ground Ops Postholder for a fleet of ~70 aircraft, operating ~430 sectors per day across a network of over 60 airports.
My role was at a crucial time in the airline's turnaround process, and I was instrumental in instilling a strong performance focus into the Ground Ops structure, including the introduction of new performance metrics and methodologies, combined with the launch of several new performance-focused tools and dashboards. This delivered a significant and sustained performance improvement across all metrics.
Evolution of the relationship with third-party handling suppliers to a more effective partnership approach delivering increased performance and engagement.
Introduction of various “framework documents” to address various performance and supplier management issues.
