  • Ground Ops Postholder for a fleet of ~70 aircraft, operating ~430 sectors per day across a network of over 60 airports.

  • My role was at a crucial time in the airline's turnaround process, and I was instrumental in instilling a strong performance focus into the Ground Ops structure, including the introduction of new performance metrics and methodologies, combined with the launch of several new performance-focused tools and dashboards. This delivered a significant and sustained performance improvement across all metrics.

  • Evolution of the relationship with third-party handling suppliers to a more effective partnership approach delivering increased performance and engagement.

  • Introduction of various “framework documents” to address various performance and supplier management issues.

  • Ground Ops Deputy Postholder for a network covering ~138 airports / 215 aircraft / 1300+ sectors per day.

  • Setting of Policy and Standards via ownership of Ground Handling Manual and Ground Ops Management Manual.

  • Line management of the “Front Of House” (Customer and Airport Standards), “Back Of House” (Ramp and Load Control, and internal compliance), and “Central Logistics” teams.

  • Provision of central support functions to Airport Managers and Handlers.
